Queen Dee embarked on her journey with Kradio FM in 2019, initially hosting the weekday slot “Midday Show.” During this time, she championed local talent, introducing the newest unsigned artists from Mpumalanga to the world and providing many local artists their first opportunity to have their music played on the radio. Following her success with the “Midday Show,” she transitioned to the popular “Friends Zone” slot, which has consistently grown in popularity.

WHERE WERE YOU BORN AND RAISED?
Mpumalanga (Daantjie) is my home.
IN WHICH TOWNS HAVE YOU LIVED AND WHERE ARE YOU LIVING CURRENTLY?
I travel a lot and love it! Locally, I’m in love with Sabie and Kruger National Park. Nationally, I adore the entire stretch from Gauteng to Cape Town.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I am passionate about music and broadcasting. I absolutely love making music with different producers and being a radio presenter.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE THING ABOUT YOUR KRADIO FM GIG?
Getting to be a small part of so many Mpumalanga people’s lives and building relationships with all of them. I also love discovering new music and making memories with my Kradio FM family.
In her early years, Queen Dee was crowned Miss Gobhoza at the age of 13 and appeared on the TV show “Jika ma Jika.” Now in her 30s, she continues to inspire and entertain her audience.
